Inspire Church
The entire Inspire redevelopment has been made possible by Levenshulme United Reformed Church which will continue to operate from the Inspire Centre. One of the core values of the Inspire Partnership is the importance of addressing the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the local community.
Working in close partnership with Levenshulme Baptist Church, a ‘menu’ of difference services and activities will be offered for all members of the community. These will include services of worship on Sundays and at different times of the week and in a variety of styles to meet different needs, including a special family service. The church will also run ‘fellowship groups’ to discuss key issues of concern from a Christian perspective and offer programmes for people to find out more about faith.
The church will also play a central role in establishing youth and children’s work and from the centre and employ a church-related community worker who will be available to support the Inspire Forum and other local needs.
The church has good relationship with other churches in Levenshulme and is also planning to develop a local inter-faith project with other faith groups in the area.
