New branding and website

Today the Inspire Partnership launches its new website and bright new branding. Carefully created by the Inspire Design Team (Roy McCarthy, Zoë Byrne and Emily Wardman) the new logo points upwards to give a sense of aspiration and inspiration. Its bright colours represent the diverse people that make up the Levenshulme community. And the photos that form the backdrop to the banners that will hang outside the construction site are all taken locally by our photographer-in-residence, Zoë Byrne.

MMU Interior Design students inspired designs
Over the past term, interior design students from Manchester Metropolitan University have been busy developing some inspirational designs for the Inspire Café. Presenting their drawings and models to Inspire partners generated some real excitement – for the first time, our dry plans are beginning to take some life and shape. MMU tutor, Howard Barlow, encouraged every student to come up with an appropriate theme for his or her design and ideas ranged from ships to food blenders and from chameleons to honeycombs. Inspire partners will now select some of the best ideas to take forward and incorporate into the actual café as it begins to take shape.
