Welcome!

Levenshulme Inspire Group Photo

Welcome to the website of Levenshulme Inspire – a dynamic partnership involving people committed to transforming our area through community activity, creativity, enterprise and fun.

Our work together radiates from the Inspire Centre, a new community hub at the heart of Levenshulme which will be open to everybody from September 2010. For more information about the redevelopment process click here.

Initially our partnership will provide the following services for the Levenshulme community:

  • Space for community groups to meet and hold their activities.

  • Training and support on just about anything people say they would like.

  • Business and enterprise support – including managed workspace for new business start-ups.

  • The Inspire Café – serving great food and drink, prepared and served as part of a youth training and volunteering scheme.

  • Community media suite with state-of-the-art equipment for reaching all your audiences.

  • 14 unique social housing units, managed by the Great Places Housing Group.

To find out more about our services please click here.

We will also be establishing the Inspire Forum – a special group for Inspire Centre users that can help to shape and develop our activities and a group for discussion and debate to find practical solutions to some of our shared local concerns.

All of this is being made possible by Levenshulme United Reformed Church. We believe that transforming our building into a vibrant community centre – open to people of all faiths and none – is an expression of the unconditional love that Jesus Christ had for all those he met.
