Governance
The Levenshulme Inspire Partnership Group was first formed in March 2005. Its partners are as follows:
- Levenshulme United Reformed Church
- The North Western Synod of the United Reformed Church
- Manchester Methodist Housing Association – the housing association which is part of the Great Places Group.
- ALLFM
- YASP (Young Adult Support Project)
- Bubble Enterprises
- Manchester City Council
Alongside the Levenshulme Inspire Partnership Group, Inspire Community Enterprise Community Interest Company has been formed as a partnership between Levenshulme United Reformed Church and Partnership WTP / Bubble Enterprises, for the primary purpose of creating a legal vehicle through which the wider partnership can operate.
The primary stakeholders behind the whole project are the local community who have been the main inspiration behind the whole scheme. In order to create a channel for centre users and local residents to have a say in how the centre is managed and run, an Inspire Forum will be formed, from which directors will be elected who will sit on the ICE Board and be part of the wider Partnership Group.
Core staff from each element of the scheme will together form a Centre Management Team to oversee the operations of the centre. The operational dimension of the Inspire Centre can be conceptualised in the following diagram:
